At the beginning of this project, the original direction was to create a logo that could sit along side those of more traditional colleges. After the first round of design submissions, the client decided it wanted to try something a little more contemporary if not trendy. MakeMedia obliged and after another round of design submissions, a solid direction was found and decided on. The idea went through a few rounds of revisions and ultimately two logos were chosen. The first logo – a combination mark with both the city silhouette and college name for marketing pursposes, and the second was simply a wordmark utilizing only the college name to be used for letterheads and the like. Also included here are a couple of the ad mockups created for the client.
